About us.
Parker Dance Collective was founded by lifelong dancer and educator Kaci Parker-Scott, who began dancing in Ozark, Missouri at age six and went on to train pre-professionally before joining a professional company at age 16 and touring nationwide. After years of performing and training, Kaci discovered her passion for educating and mentoring the next generation of dancers. With a degree in Business and Education, a Certificate in Performing Arts Industry and Business from New York University, and years of experience teaching, choreographing, and directing both recreational and competitive programs, Kaci created PDC with a vision for dance training that puts the dancer first. At Parker Dance Collective, we prioritize the mental and physical well-being of our dancers while providing intentional, high-quality training designed to help each dancer reach their individual potential. We believe dancers should be challenged to work hard while still finding joy in the process, building meaningful connections, and enjoying their childhood. Our programs are designed to meet dancers where they are and support where they want to go, whether they dance for the love of it or have aspirations of pursuing dance at a higher level. Above all, we believe dancers are humans first and dancers second, and our mission is to train athletes not only for the stage, but for the journey of LIFE.
